Terms
Last updated 1 October 2026
The short version. Studios set a campaign budget of at least €1,000. Game Taste keeps 15% of that budget as its fee and the other 85% goes to creators, at a fixed rate per 1,000 verified views. Creators post honest videos tagged as an ad on their own channels and get paid once a month. Fake views do not count and do not get paid.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Game Taste Creators pages on gametaste.nl, join the waitlist or take part in a campaign. Game Taste is run by Tasture Media, a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands ("Game Taste", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you use Game Taste on behalf of a studio or company, you confirm you are allowed to agree for them.
Game Taste is in an early stage. While the full platform is being built, campaigns are planned with us directly. When accounts go live, these terms will be expanded and we will let you know before the new version applies to you.
2. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and does not commit you to anything. It also does not guarantee a spot in a campaign or a launch date. We may contact you about Game Taste using the details you gave us, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. For studios
Campaign budget
Every campaign has a minimum budget of €1,000. Early campaigns are paid campaigns. Before a campaign starts, we agree a written brief with you. It covers the game, the platforms, your rate per 1,000 views, the maximum payout per video, the campaign dates, content guidelines and what happens to any budget that is left over at the end. The campaign stops when the budget is spent.
Choosing creators and videos
You choose which creators join your campaign and you check every video before its views count. Each creator posts one video per campaign, on one platform the campaign runs on, so the budget reaches more creators. Please review videos within the time set in the brief, so creators are not left waiting. If you reject a video, tell us why, based on the brief.
Platform fee
Game Taste takes a platform fee of 15% from the campaign budget. The remaining 85% is reserved for creator payouts. There are no separate setup or subscription fees unless we agree them with you in writing. Prices are shown excluding VAT or other sales taxes, which are added where they apply.
Payment
The campaign budget is paid upfront, before creators start posting. A campaign goes live once the payment has been received.
Your game and assets
You confirm that you have the rights to the game, footage, keys and other materials you give us or creators, and that creators may use them to make content for the campaign. Game keys you hand out for a campaign are free for the creator and do not have to be returned. You are responsible for making sure your brief does not ask creators to make claims that are false or misleading.
No guaranteed results
We work hard to match your game with creators who fit, but we cannot promise a specific number of views, wishlists, sales or reviews. Your budget is paid out for verified views, so you only pay creators for views that actually happened.
4. For creators
Who can join
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to be paid as a creator. You can only submit content from channels you own or are authorised to manage.
Making content
- Follow the campaign brief and the rules of the platform you post on.
- Clearly disclose that the content is sponsored, using the platform's paid partnership label or a clear tag such as #ad, as required by the law where you and your audience are.
- Share your honest opinion. A campaign pays for views, not for a positive review.
- Keep the video public for at least the period set in the brief.
- Post one video per campaign, on one platform of your choice that the campaign runs on. If the studio rejects it, you may fix it or submit a new one.
- Do not enter the same video in a campaign for the same game on another creator platform, so the studio does not pay twice for one video.
There is no exclusivity and no minimum number of campaigns. You decide which campaigns you join and when you post, and you are free to work with other brands and platforms.
Getting paid
Creators earn the campaign's rate per 1,000 verified views, up to the maximum per video, for 30 days after the video is posted and until the campaign budget is spent. Earnings are paid once a month through Stripe to the bank account you set up there. You are an independent creator, not an employee of Game Taste or the studio, and you are responsible for your own taxes.
5. Verified views
We count views every day using the data the platforms provide through their official tools and APIs. Views only count for a video that the studio has approved, that follows the brief and that is tagged as an ad. We may exclude views, or hold back a payout while we look into it, if we have good reason to think the views are not real, for example views from bots, view buying, view exchanges, misleading thumbnails or reuploads of other people's content. If views are found to be fake after payment, we may recover the amount paid for them. Where the platform data and our own count differ, we use the platform data.
6. Content and rights
Creators keep ownership of the content they make. Unless the brief says otherwise, the studio may link to, embed and share the published content on its own channels and store pages, with credit to the creator. Any wider use, such as using the footage in paid ads, needs to be agreed with the creator in the brief.
The Game Taste name, logo and website design belong to Tasture Media. Please do not use them in a way that suggests a partnership we have not agreed to.
7. Fair use of Game Taste
Do not use Game Taste to:
- break the law or a platform's rules
- promote content that is hateful, harassing, sexualises minors or is otherwise harmful
- inflate views or try to game how we verify them
- misrepresent who you are or which channels you own
- interfere with the website, scrape it or try to access parts you are not meant to
We may refuse a campaign, remove a creator from a campaign or close an account if these terms are broken.
8. Liability
We provide Game Taste with care, but the website and campaigns depend on third party platforms that can change their rules, their data or their APIs at any time. We are not responsible for those changes or for what creators or studios say in their own content.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any campaign is limited to the platform fee we received for that campaign, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost sales. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.
9. Ending things
You can leave the waitlist or stop using Game Taste at any time. A campaign that has already started continues under the agreed brief until it ends. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we stop offering the service, in which case we will settle any payouts owed for verified views.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Game Taste grows. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for you, we will tell you by email before it applies. Campaigns already running stay under the terms that applied when they started.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law where you live as a consumer gives you the right to go to your local court. Before any of that, we would much rather talk it through, so please contact us first.
